The strengthening of the tree is done to increase the resilience of the tree in adverse weather conditions such as snow load and strong wind. Strengthening may also be necessary due to defects in the wood, specific shape of the crown and others.
When done correctly, the reinforcement does not interfere in any way with the wood. Because the ropes hold the tied branches, the loads are evenly distributed, and the probability of any of the branches breaking off and falling to the ground is very small.
